We are extremely proud of our Structured Training Policy:   

All our carers undergo a thorough interview process, and once recruited undergo a thorough training programme which includes, manual handling, safeguarding, medication, protection of vulnerable adults and first aid, food hygiene, health and safety and fire awareness.
 
All newly recruited staff go through a programme of shadowing senior carers, who then assess their capability to start work working with clients, initally all new carers work on double calls were they always work with another expereienced member of staff untill they are confident to work sometimes on their own, We recognise this as a way of nurturing and giving new staff confidence they need to work as part of the team.
